I Live in Harmony with Everyone I Know

May 20, 2021

This week’s affirmation is taken from Louise Hay’s book You can Heal Your Life.

Living in harmony and balance gives us a sense of perfection, of all being right with our world.  There is nothing more jarring that that splintery memory of confrontation with someone.

If we leave our positive feelings in the hands of anyone we meet, we will soon lose all our positive feelings…

Making the decision to live in harmony and balance doesn’t mean that we don’t stand up for ourselves, it means that we handle conflict and others’ chaotic energies and unstable frequencies with our own inner balance and harmony.  Picture a boat that meets a wave. Balance keeps us upright, happy in our own world and reality no matter the wave size.

Luke 6:27 in the Bible tells us Jesus’ words about this: (Paraphrased) I say to you who can hear this, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you and pray for those who mistreat you.

This is staying in balance.  Not their balance – yours. If they hate you, for sure they are not in balance and you cannot allow them in their instability to pull you off balance.

How do we live in harmony with someone who is not at all in our frequency range? We recognize who they are on an Infinite level and let them be free of negative responses if possible. The next few verses say that we should treat others as we would like to be treated and that when we do these things (mentioned above) we are acting as our Father in Heaven.

Another paraphrase for this thought is from Matt Kahn, “I forgive you for forgetting who you are in my presence”. Forgiving or releasing someone releases us as well. The Lord’s prayer says we should forgive as we are forgiven. When we hold another’s energy or frequency in our mind we are held in that same web until we release both them and ourselves.

Scripture also says. “Be ye perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect”. What is Perfection? If we declare it, this very moment.  Just be living in Perfection, that is true harmony and balance, being One with all there is
