If you’ve walked a dog, you’ll love walking our alpacas! Lead them through the property, even among the forest trail, as they hum beside you. They love to explore the woods! 

You’ll have the option of feeding them some pellets, or if the season is right, an apple or two as well! These gentle giants are such a joy to watch, and even more fun to observe at the end of a tether. 

Structure

• Orientation: We’ll begin with some brief guidelines on how to safely walk our alpacas.
• Walk: We will introduce you to the alpacas so they are comfortable, harness them up, and guide you along our forest trails or around the property.
• Optional Farm Tour: Before or after your walk, if you’re interested, you have the option of taking a tour of the farm/center. There is a lot to see!

Requirements

Minimum of 2 participants required. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Must be 12years or older to handle a leash solo. If younger (9-11), must be aided by an adult. Not suitable for children under 8 years old.
