Our grounds are a treasure trove of planted and wild-grown fruits, vegetables, nuts, herbs, and more! From aquaponics, to above-ground garden beds, from orchards to wild forest gardens, we invite you to explore the natural world and have a sample of all the beauty that abounds.
Maple Grove
We affectionately call our small grove of trees the maple grove at our Centralia location. It has a selection of deciduous and evergreen trees, including our 6 maple trees and even a giant sequoia seedling. Planted in Spring of 2020, its small, yet growing stand of trees will delight for years to come.
Fruit Shrubs and Trees
Apples, pears, peaches, fig, cherry, plum, apricot trees are planted all over the Centralia location, with two main planting areas. The center also has grapes, blueberries, strawberries, rhubarb, kiwi, raspberries, and of course rampant blackberries.
Forest Garden
Our 17-acre forest full of paths and trails in Centralia, also hosts a forest garden. A sustainable, low-maintenance ecosystem comprising of edible fruit and nut trees, vines, shrubs, and perennial vegetables throughout the woods.
Vegetable & Herb Garden
The vegetable patch in Centralia has a whole host of different types of vegetables grown in different ways, show casing different vegetables from around the world that can grow in temperate areas. You can also find traditional spices and medicinal herbs to use in the kitchen and elsewhere around the farm.
Aquaponics Greenhouse
Centralia has an aquaponics garden consisting of tilapia and fresh greens.
